Here is my short analysis regarding recent escalation in the northern Israeli border: 1. An important historical development in Hezbollah-Hamas relations that has now reached maturity after years of interactions appears to be reflected in the escalation.

2. Motivated to strengthen its pro-Palestinian image for some reasons and challenge the Israeli red lines, Hezbollah has enabled Hamas to build terrorist infrastructures across Lebanon and fire missiles from the north.

4. Most likely, Hezbollah and Hamas are motivated to undermine Israel's red lines as they believe that it has been weakened due to its political-social crisis stemming from the controversy regarding judicial reform.

6. Based on my perception, the Temple Mount tension is what is currently causing this escalation, not the Israeli-Iranian conflict in Syria.

@Yossi_Mansharof The MB (Hamas) and Hezbollah alliance is historically not new, but it has been intensified for opportunistic reasons. We also see this in Europe. But we should also not forget the influence of Abu Putin. 😉
