I cannot believe how few politicians went to this vigil mourning both Israelis and Palestinians. During the two separate vigils mourning Israeli lives, hundreds of politicians showed up.
So deeply sad to see how many clearly value Israeli lives over the lives of Palestinians.
Tonight, I stood with my colleagues to remember the thousands of lives lost in Israel and Gaza.
Too many innocent lives have been lost. We need a permanent ceasefire to prevent more death and violence.

They are like paid protesters by AIPAC. And now the Americans and the whole world should wake up to this fact that the US is owned by Israel.

All of them, except Rashida, voted YES just TWO nights ago on a resolution equating anti-Zionism with antisemitism while Israel is committing GENOCIDE.
That is outright Fascism.
America is teetering on the edge.

Who attends a vigil for Extremist terrorists who started an evil war and has not released all hostages not surrendered as yet. If they had released and surrendered, I would have attended, knowing that the war is ending!
@YonahLieberman
I’m even more sad looking at the comments tbh… even with the small number of politicians who showed up, people still believe Palestinian lives shouldn’t be mourned.
@YonahLieberman
It’s bc this isn’t about Jewish lives.
If Rashida or any of these people actually cared about dead Jews, they’d be demanding Hamas be brought to justice, not a ceasefire.
