Brooklyn Community Board 12 approved the co-naming of 16th Ave (btw 58th & 59th St) in Borough Park in honor of Rabbi Yanky (Jack) Meyer, z”l, the founder of Misaskim and a true pillar of chesed. I cherished his friendship and am heartened to see his legacy live on. 🕯️

This assault on a group of Orthodox Jewish children is disgusting.   Antisemitism has no home in Brooklyn, and I am grateful that the Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating this attack. My office is monitoring the situation.
