Due to the most recent forecasts we do not expect to meet the criteria to conduct a Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS). However, high winds may still cause outages, particularly on Tuesday, and Enhanced Powerline Safety Settings (EPSS) will be in place to reduce wildfire risk.

Public Safety Power Shutoffs are a tool of last resort, and we only implement them when absolutely necessary. Our meteorologists work with a network of experts to identify and monitor the risk factors that can necessitate a PSPS. As soon as it's safe for our crews to patrol lines

After the extreme winds on Friday, 450 Xcel Energy employees and contractors are on site over the weekend, including crew members from Colorado, and drone and helicopter pilots from surrounding areas. As of this evening, our crews have restored power to 90% of our Xcel Energy.
