With regards to RAW/SmackDown deals, (still early in the process) one party that does have interest in adding the WWE is Disney.
The potential cable placement would not be ESPN, but rather FX.

They are scrounging for money because of the Hulu situation - due in early 2024

I really hope that’s not the case because for Disney+ sadly you have more than one option but with Peacock it’s much easier in my opinion.

Disney would allow a more edgier program. FX is home to the most TV MA programming that is not a movie channel. Look at Mayans MC, Snowfall, Justified, Sons of Anarchy, The Shield, Dave, Archer… I’m only listing a few. It would be a great move!

If they do this, I wonder if they go after the network next. That makes a lot sense here imo. Especially if they’re going to keep Hulu though it looks like they will dump it.

If FX is the move, I’d be okay with it only because the creative content options on that station would benefit Raw and Smackdown heavily. USA Network and NBC hinders them so bringing them in on FX would be a refreshing change.
