One of the highlights of the year for me! Fantastic to see a packed lecture theatre @UCLan last night for @IFE_Lancs_Group Lecturette final. Massive thanks to those that make this happen & a huge well done to all Cadets who presented. @ifeglobal inspiring the future of fire 🔥
Last night hosted our annual #firecadets competition. Every single Cadet did their units, families and the Cadet scheme proud. Our winner from South Shore & runner up from Burnley will go onto the Regional finals. Huge thanks to @tompowell_91 & @UCLanFire @LFRScadets @ifeglobal

Today, some of our colleagues are partaking it "I'm not a Muslim but I will fast (for one day)". This is community initiative by @1VoiceBlackburn. They will collectively observe a day-long fast before concluding at 6:30pm to prayer and break the fast with an Iftari meal.
