And when they can't lynch or shoot, they arrest on-air reporters of color for just doing their jobs. This isn't the same country I pledged my loyalty to in 2006 when I became a naturalized citizen. Devastating.

Was thinking of exactly that scene this week..."that's why it feels this way". Our country's legacy is we're incapable of learning from our mistakes.
