Copy paste coding is often valid.
What’s your most hated programming “best practice”?. I absolutely hate DRY. Devs follow it religiously and it leads to unnecessarily abstracted code to avoid copy-pasting a handful of lines.

Tech companies spent 2 years over hiring then went into a recession, and people act like these economic conditions are permanent.
Programming is no longer a valuable skill btw. Everyone can code now. I’ve interviewed people with masters degrees applying to jr positions. Spoke to someone on a space yesterday who had a masters in AI & he couldn’t get roles. Game is game.

I’m pretty sure people who are saying they can now do in 2 days what used to take them 10 days thanks to copilot are just devs who never think to import 3rd party libraries for common tasks.
