And it all comes full circle. Eri is the final straw that frees Suletta through an act of familial love (sparing her from going to earth), and Suletta freeing both Elnora and Eri by caring too much to walk away from her family. Love basically saves all four of them.

Suletta does genuinely love her mom, but that love has been used to condition her to go against even her own ideals. It’s Miorine who draws a genuine response and starts to crack that foundation Prospera built up. You can even see her struggle when choosing who to side with.

There’s also another layer here. When Suletta responds to Prospera calling her name, her pupils stay tiny. They don’t fluctuate like they do when Miorine holds her or when she calls Miorine her “special someone”.

Suletta views her conditioned responses as love. She’s doing things for her mom because she loves her and even believes that Aerial won’t hurt her because “family won’t do that” And so it’s interesting that Miorine brings out that same reaction, free from any conditioning.

Another big detail here is the way her pupils dilate. We see that happen whenever Prospera’s conditioning kicks in, but it also happens during ep11 when Miorine hugs Suletta during the confession. And I think it’s a big detail confirming how much Suletta loves her.
