$SMCI (AI/GPU & rack-scale 52% of CQ2 rev) down ~20%+. Beat CQ1 consensus rev/EPS by 10%/21% but CQ2 guide missed by 3%/7% but says due to supply constraints. Sign of easy money in AI hardware stocks being over. Fundamentals, valuation, risk vs reward & stock picking now matters.

VIX: an unfilled gap at the close yesterday. 95% of all gaps in the $VIX (up gaps and down gaps) are filled in 90 days or less. We're thinking Friday’s gap will be filled in a much shorter amount of time; sell the rally in the market. Become a member at https://t.co/RRxJAeLcgO

For context, since inception, the avg amount of assets invested short is ~55% vs ~3% at 5/12 close. We typically cover instead of adding longs if there is a high probability of NT oversold conditions/rally. This gets us longer but raises cash which cuts risk if we are early.
CPI/core of 8.3%/6.2% vs 8.5%/6.5% both supported pk inflation hope but was higher than forecast supporting entrenched inflation fears. W/ forced selling at other funds w/ big losses, covering shorts (just ~5% of assets) & adding longs like $KWEB. Believe nxt 5% move in S&P is up
