@rapplerdotcom Now why would the PNP act like this? This is so rude and unprofessional. Instead of protecting the citizens from those who do not wish for them to exert their right to speech, what do es the PNP hope to accomplish in countering noise from a legitimate public assembly?

WATCH: The PNP band loudly performs to divert attention from the chanting of protesters in front of the Police Regional Office 7 in Cebu City on Thursday, September 21. Various groups conduct protests to commemorate the 51st anniversary of the declaration of Martial Law.…

@krunchy84 @rapplerdotcom Why would anyone drown out chanting if not for sinister purpose? Hindi ba kabastusan ang nangyari? Nag-rally ang mga tao dapat PNP nagpatrol around the rallyist to protect them from bad elements, which I assume are out there, too.

@WJGBalderama @rapplerdotcom So would you rather have the police in riot gear in front of the protesters asking them to disassemble?

@pbag26 @rapplerdotcom I want them to be in front of the rallyists to ensure their safety from within their ranks and from the other side of the police cordon. Why in the world do you want the rallyists to be ‘disassemble’ (your word)?

@AlexanThio @rapplerdotcom So are they serenading the protesters? No wonder police organizations around the world do not want to have anything to do with the PNP. They are only good for jokes and comedy skits, not policing matters. But, hey, I hope they get invited to perform in Las Vegas. Then they don’t…

@WJGBalderama @rapplerdotcom daming nagcocomment dito na mukhang pinondohan ng either PNP, PCO, AFP, o mga galamay ni Sara. obviously they don't understand what good governance is, defending an embarrassing act like this.
