Its about to get a whole lot warmer heading into next week, heat indices will reach near 100° Sunday evening, after a few thunderstorms move through during the morning hours. But, by next week, we will be seeing heat indices in the mid-upper 100's!

Another round of heavy rain is moving into areas that have already picked up nearly 5" of rain this morning. Some streets have accumulated several inches of standing water close to Macomb. If you come across flooded roads, turn around - don't drown. -Meteorologist Kyle Eck

With this morning's storms, very heavy rain has fallen, and a few areas in McDonough County in Illinois have begun to approach 5" of rain. This is why a Flash Flood Warning is out for McDonough County through 3:45pm today, as even more rain is expected. -Meteorologist Kyle Eck
