I also believe the lack of anger that losing brings to most players shows how much they don't give a fuck about winning, i'm not talking about crashouts but more like, not leaving the vc 1 microsecond after losing or just being like "go next" when you just got obliterated.

Especially as a carbon player, it's super visible when I play with fast players (Jared,Zero,Gos for example) the game feels perfect, i'm always at the right place at the right time but when I play people who were bathed in a slow playstyle it just looks like i'm feeding.

It gets tiring seeing everyone talk about "the gap" "they're so good" mechanically they're only slightly better as the game allows, the main difference is the pace, if you guys wanna get better vs japan perhaps we open our Splatoon lesson n⁰1 books and review how the roots work.

Every singular time I argue about people being slow in the way they play they always argue that it's THE way to play the game, which I think is insanely lame. The meta clearly directs towards fast paced actions with QR weps being in the spotlight but the pace is still snail like.

The main issue that set the west back 50 years back is S2 starburst, their playstyle worked for them and every singular average team tried to copy them, leading to people thinking slow = win, the issue being if I put slow people who suck at it, they're just gonna get ran through.

From my perspective, the west's always been too slow regarding the game, only a few top players that I have played with allow me to play my weapon the way it's supposed to. There's a reason why japan is able to run devious weapons it's because they're based on speed 1/?.

Had to clutch for the homies also fuck a certain someone from dropping their backpack off the map (no more reverse rope).
