All I did was lose out on opportunities to learn and be inspired by others, taking things I liked and making them my own. You should create content you'd want to see, but how do you know what you'd want if you're never looking?

When I started streaming I stopped watching "bigger" streamers because I thought being "a fan" would be a detriment to building professional/mutual relationships. I also didn't want to be "inspired" by cool things they did and possibly rip-off them off attempting it myself.
