If anyone's confused: I am mostly active on my other twitter profile right now - @ViviAnneHunt (pen name), so if I answer from there it's because I don't jump around between them a lot. I am happy to see some familiar faces following me there too. Hiiiiiiii, I missed you.πβ€οΈβ¨

Good morning #writingcommunity. What's your latest book about? Share the link in this thread if it's published, I want to see everyone's books and maybe buy some/share them. Add a hook too, if you can. Please RT and like, so people see this! π

I #amwriting tonight, and am reminding myself it's a first draft. I can throw words at the page and see what sticks. Not every description needs to be poetic. Some trees are just tall. #WritingCommunity

I spent Saturday doing some marketing research and it became so much that I had to hop on over to spoken word poetry on Youtube, so my brain wouldn't get fried. Art balances us, it grounds us. Thank god for art.π Don't forget to feed your soul, not just your mind!

Finally, I want to reiterate this point because I believe in it 100%: The is NO such thing as an inferior or superior genre or story, NO such thing as embarrassing or shameful books or whatever. There's just stories, and they're ALL equally amazing. #writingcommunity

I am also really enjoying writing stories that I wish were out there in the world - you know what they say, write the stories you wish you could pick up and read. That's what I'm doing and it's FUN. For me, writing is like living a thousand lives in one. I love it.π

These days I am highly enjoying the research part of the writing process. Discovering new ways to experience the world, through other people's experiences, is becoming my favorite way to write. Lots of people are not like me and I would like to know what life for them is like.

Good morning, lovely writers and readers! I hope you have a magical day enveloped in words and wonderful new worlds to experience. When I'm not reading, I LOVE to write stories I wish existed out there in the world.π What about you? #writingcommunity

Lastly, I am extremely proud to live in the times we live in. It's not easy or smooth, but I have seen progress that I never imagined could happen in my lifetime. I am an advocate for freedom of expression and identity. That is my mission and my purpose in life. REBEL ON!π₯°π

One last point - for the purpose of effective communication, yes, there should be words and pronouns, of course, but that's where we decide what they are for ourselves, not other people. You are what you say you are. Nobody else.π

Finally, at the end of the day, I think there's this divide between forward thinking and traditional thinking individuals, which... I mean, shouldn't we strive for progress? I'm just being a devil's advocate here, and a rebel because I never liked labels in the first place.

But the *really* dangerous thing about labels is: They have the power to hurt people and hurt them deeply, whether you put them on yourself or others. So in lieu of this fact, I'd rather abolish all labels than having people unable to be free and happy. Just my thoughts.π

Because when I have put myself in a box, saying for example I was straight, I have denied myself sexual growth. If I put myself in a bisexual box, I would have been kinda happier in my younger years. At the end of the day, I'd rather go for happy than 'traditional'.

Sometimes I think about labels... In the course of my life I have identified as several things, but at the end of the day, that's been fluid throughout my life, so why should I put myself in a box? I shouldn't. I am who I am, no labels needed.π
