Members of @AstroKPJ's lab helped in the discovery of the heaviest black hole merger in history, resulting in a black hole 240 times the mass of the Sun. Detected by @LIGO, 5 grad students and 2 postdocs from the lab helped with key detector characterization and data-analysis.
