You must understand that those who fought against Rhodesia and demanded Mugabe personally be given all power did so with things like this as the goal.
Blacks starving is irrelevant. They’ll sacrifice a million if it means hurting 10 whites and destroying a functional country.
Squeak, a Jack Russell Terrier, guards the body of his master, Terry Ford, a white Zimbabwean farmer murdered during Robert Mugabe's farm seizures in 2002.
It wasn’t just for majority rule. There was already a government that was going to transition to majority rule but the West demanded Mugabe be given all power. And then when exactly what Ian Smith predicted happened, they pled ignorance. BS. It’s not incompetence, it’s malice.

Because it would mean that the people smeared as white racists had a point, and our rulers accurately understand that would be more dangerous to them than tens of thousands (black and white) dying in agony.
@VDAREJamesK
Same way with the American Civil War. "The Day Dixie Died: Southern Occupation" documents how the "freed" slaves on behalf of whom the war by the North was supposedly fought, were left on their own at war's end, many thousands to die of disease and starvation.

It’s just the gnome meme from South Park — violence against the “oppressors” will somehow result in profit. I’m sure if the linked White Farmers with “profit” they’d change their tune in a heartbeat, it’s just been so well ingrained in them from the horrors of the Bush War
@VDAREJamesK
Yep. And Rhodesia was in many ways a prototype for what they would do to the rest if the west. This is from my novel, Lost Causes. Happy to send you a free copy JK.
