Important research showing that part of the solution to absenteeism lies in getting things right for children in the early years 👇 We need a strategy that helps all children thrive in school from the start, not just sanctions & emergency measures when things are going wrong.
NEW: Children who aren't “school ready” are more than twice as likely to become persistently absent according to a new study led by our partners at University of Leeds. All the signs to prevent absenteeism are there - we just need to respond to them.
