The tree you see is Grevillea robusta, it is a popular agroforestry tree in Uganda, where it was introduced for shade and is now widely used for timber, and erosion control.While the species is alien to Uganda, it has been grown in the country for a long period of time. UECO

UECO UPDATE | Environmental Awareness Project (2024–2030) On 10th Nov 2025, we visited Namulesa SDA Primary School for an environmental awareness session and planted 56 trees, including Giant rila, Podocarpus, Maesopsis, Jackfruit, Avocado, Black plum & Umbrella tree. UECO
