@USN_Submariner Fortunately, the upcoming Columbia class has fairwater planes. Boats without planes just don't look completely right to me. (I know there are hydrodynamic reasons why SSNs don't,and SSBNs do)

@USN_Submariner As we went to the future designs, very notable is the bridge area, changed and made smaller. Wondering about maybe a loss in advantage of lookouts, but in favor of enhanced diving ability???
