Though I can't recall ever seeing this done at the district court level—certainly in a criminal case—it's consistent with my sense that Judge Cannon aspires to be an appellate judge, either on the 11th Circuit or, um, higher.
Judge Cannon will allow several non-parties to participate in oral argument during a hearing set to take place later this month on Trump’s motion to dismiss the classified documents case based on “the unlawful appointment of Special Counsel Jack Smith.”

Look what globalists can do when they have a clarity of purpose, extraordinary courage and shared democratic values in an era of existential fascist threats and rampant disinformation. D-Day, 80 years ago.

I think it’s time for REAL praying People of faith to pray Trump goes away and is exposed for all of the world to see. He’s destroyed so many hearts (and minds)

“Freedom is worth it. Democracy is worth it. America is worth it. The world is worth it,” Biden says of the sacrifices of D-Day and, it seems, today’s fight against authoritarianism.

We are forever indebted to our World War II veterans—and especially now, as we mark 80 years since D-Day and the start of the Allied liberation of France from Nazi occupation. Our World War II veterans saved the free world. We must merely defend it.

What a moving tribute to these US Normandy veterans. They freed the brave French people from the misery of German occupation. More than 4000 allied troops were killed in action that first day. U.S. Brits. Canadians. French. The longest day.
This has to be the longest standing ovation for anyone or anything I have ever witnessed. 4000 high school students in Normandy, France standing to honor our World War II veterans. This area in northern France has not forgotten the events of 80 years ago. Honored and humbled

.@mikebarnicle: "This is a powerful, powerful ceremony. The pictures all morning long have been such symbols of where we are today and the memories of what we were 80 years ago. We've got to revive that spirit because it is who we are as a country. We stand up."

Eighty years ago today, thousands of brave Americans fought to protect democracy on the shores of Normandy. This November, all we have to do is vote.

So moving to be in Normandy on the 80th anniversary of D-Day, and to speak again with Jake Larson - 101 years old and still going strong. He reminds us of the sacrifices the greatest generation made, and that democracy must be fought for.

Typical of the Trump's January 6 insurrectionists that all Republicans now insist were just "harmless and well intentioned patriots who wandered the halls of the Capitol as tourists, after the cops opened the doors to them."
SIX YEARS PRISON in Jan 6 case of Andrew Taake, who was accused of deploying spray at police Feds say Taake “while on pretrial release for a still-pending child-solicitation case in Texas, came to Washington, D.C., armed with bear spray and a metal whip”
