The manga’s Monster Association arc in general had various ideas and concepts that weren’t actually bad, but should have been kept for later into the story rather than badly shoehorned into an already solidly written arc. Adding some fluff is one thing (the manga always did that)
As much as I'm not a big fan of OPM's story in the manga around mid to end of Garou's arc. Saitama vs Garou genuinely tackles so much in terms of Saitama's story, Garou's arcs and Saitama finally finding a person to fight only to feel dissatisfied due to the loss of his friends
