The difference between a non-Christian and a Christian isn't that one's a sinner and one isn't. Both are sinners.
The difference is that non-Christians love their sin, while Christians hate their sin, sin less & less, & kill sin daily, because they have a new nature in Christ!

O sweetie that's so cute. If that were true why is that more "Christians", as a percent of population, commit crimes than agnostics and athiests. How is that we manage to kill, rape, and steal less than y'all and all without god?
@TrevorSheatz
God does not refer to a saved individual as a sinner. There are three categories of people. The righteous, the ungodly, and the sinner. 1 Pet 4:18
@TrevorSheatz
So your new "nature in Christ" is still a sinner... When you sin, do you repent to the One True God that sent Christ Jesus son of Mary? ๐ค
@TrevorSheatz
While Scripture teaches that we grow out of sin as we mature in Christ, God specifically calls us saints, not sinners. Positionally, we are holy ones, made that way before the Father because of Christ. While the ability to sin has not been taken away, our label as a sinner has.

No dear, the Christian is not a sinner. His nature is completely changed.
So while he may do something wrong it doesn't define his nature.
In the same way a child is no less human because he decides to bark like a dog. That's not the nature of the child. Jesus took care of sin
@TrevorSheatz
Christians are no longer sinners(noun) because we are a new creation in Christ and no longer have the sin nature. We do sin ( verb) because we live in a fallen world and our minds are constantly being renewed by God's word.
@TrevorSheatz
Our righteousness before God is not based on what we do but on who we are in Christ. As our minds are renewed on this truth we lose the desire to sin( verb).
@TrevorSheatz
Permit me to draw your attention to this: The โJUSTโ shall live by faith...this speaks to the one who has been justified by God himself...God forbid that we call the one justified by God a sinner...more accurately both the JUST and the SINNER have sin to deal with...
@TrevorSheatz
The non Christian is not a sinner in his own eyes. He neither believes in sin nor a saviour. The Christian believes in sin, has a saviour, and is freed from stranglehold of sin by his saviour(Redeemed eternaly.). Christians believe and recognise sin and see it in their flesh. ๐
@TrevorSheatz
How can someone love what they donโt believe is real? There is no sin. I donโt love it. I do have morals. I love doing good to the most people.
@TrevorSheatz
You cannot have a new nature in Christ and still be a sinner. Sin is a nature and thats what Adam gave to us. Righteousness is a nature and that's what we have in Christ.
Romans 6 speaks explicitly on this
