As a kid who grew up in the Cooper Era…I’ll always be nervous going into The Game. But watching OSU in 19 and Ryan Day’s interview after told me all I needed to know about what kind of coach he is.

I grew up in the Cooper era too on the other side of the rivalry. Trust me there is no part of me that has one iota of irrational hope due to Michigan beating Cooper 25 years ago lol.

Class of '95, lifelong case of PJCSD. My son is currently a sophomore, born 10 days before Tressels first ❌ game. I tell him he better appreciate the fact he's living in the den Gden Age because there are plenty of us who will never get over the anxiety attacks

My 13 year old always ask why I’m nervous every time. I’ve seen too many battles go the other way in my youth. I’ll always be on edge for this game.

Yep, I got the same feeling seeing him in the moment. He may not be from Ohio, but he get it. He understands it. That's all we really need to know

My first game was 24-12. I was 10. Next 35 years was 20-13-2 UM. They had a nice streak during Cooper.
Michigan hasn’t recovered from the coaching carousel after Lloyd.
