My daughter jumped in the car after the biggest day and she said "I saw Mrs. Jacobs!!!!" @cathyjacobs5 Thank you for being someone she would be so excited to get to see on her day!! You know we love you BIG in this house.

Well this is IT. My last week of working in what I thought was my dream school district. Thank goodness God is the author of my story. What I thought was a dream was just a glimpse into what He has in store for me.

I hope all of the CFISD kids who depend on extra weekend food support from programs were invited to summer school. I worry about them having access to the summer meal programs. The food is there, but parents work and can't always get them to the schools.

My senior is going to walk the halls of @MatzkeElemCFISD one last time in a couple of weeks. I swear I just enrolled her in August. She better give @cathyjacobs5 the biggest hug.

I am saying good bye after ten years in this district. My heart truly tried to hold on. I kept telling myself "What if a position opens?" But God doesn't play what if like I do. I am returning the library in a new school district. Back to the TRAP I go. 🩷🥰

Today, a kid asked me why I changed my pink hair. All of these months later, he was curious. I told him dress code rules. He told me I should have whatever hair color I wanted. Did we ever bother asking the kids if they cared? I miss it.
