Our goal with this update is to more tightly tie hitboxes and hurtboxes to our character animations. The hit/hurtbox updates in this patch are a foundational change to MultiVersus. There may be issues, but we should be able to correct the issues quickly and more accurately now.
We're looking at Tom & Jerry. It's taking us more time, because it's a hard problem. They only dominate when played at a high skill level. We need to figure out what to do to not hurt them even more at lower skill level play, while bringing them down a bit at higher skill levels.
We did a foundational overhaul on how we do hurt/hitboxes, we're still finding issues, but things will continue to get better over time. It'll be in the build after this one.

We wanted to explain some of what happened yesterday. Some of our work-in-progress work slipped into the build causing a lot of issues. Some of our global hurt/hit box changes got pulled in accidentally as well as in-progress ammo cooldown system.
Just started watching The Boys for the first time. I tried before, but company I was with didn’t want to watch it. I’m hooked now though, partway through Season 1.

, are there gonna be anymore assist type characters we can summon other than Nepter or the Banana Guard later on? I think it'd be cool to have various other enemies/friends from various shows show up.
I’m thinking about giving armor pierce on Batman’s Neutral Special bomb, but nerfing batarang pick up cooldown a bit. This should make Batman have more responses to bad matchups. The increased cooldown and projectile fixes to destroy batarang should give more counterplay
10,000,000 ringouts just like that. We had this event planned a while ago and thought this would be a good number, to grind over a weekend, but now we know.

For Garnet made her recovery faster for her ground and air side special. The gauntlet is a bit faster and goes a bit further. Her Sair 1 combos into Sair 2 more reliably. This will be in a patch after the Morty patch.

Just curious and I 100% not saying she’s in, but what would the default outfit for Marceline in MultiVersus be? I’m serious when I’m saying I’m not saying anything. I was just wondering.
Iron Giant was designed by Daniel Kraft who also designed Tom and Jerry. Iron Giant took us 3x longer to develop than any other character on the roster, but it opens up some doors for new characters. :)

Tried watching the first episode of Cyberpunk while fixing some Arya bugs. Damn that show is good. I needed to pay attention so probably can’t multitask while watching it.
In today's update Iron Giant's up air and air/ground down special has had adjustments to fix a bug that allowed it to hit repeatedly. Another adjustment to knockback angle for Iron Giant's Up Special was added to help make it harder to 0 to death combo opponents.
