Will someone please explain to me why Canada has a carbon tax? We produce 726 megatonnes of GHG (carbon) per year. But our 322 billion trees absorb 7,010 megatons per year. 9.66 times the amount produced. Seems to me the other countries should be paying Canada for our trees.
