solution is equal representation regardless of what the fans want to hear. If the ticket sales go down screw it just charge more because hell youre being tolerant of every race regardless of their ability to make music. Its not about race my guy its about their musical ability.

Ben when was the last time you spoke to me? You obviously don't care about the topic at hand because it has no effect on you so why are you commenting underneath my post
So today I decided I had the ENERGY:
The Lost Lands Lineup has a total of 159 acts with 186 artists within those acts. Out of those 186 people:
18 are Asian
14 are Latino
6 are Black
Out of 186 artists, 10 are women. SPECIFICALLY WHITE WOMEN...There are NO women of color

Lmao deadass in all my spreadsheeting the past 3 months ive only come across ONE native american (Darksiderz) in dance music like ive come across more Pacific Indigenous artists than American Native artists and if that dont say somn idk what does

I read this..What if you donβt look like your stereotypical blood line and a person on that line up doesnβt want to be open about their gender? Seems a bit off to me.

@SCEE_13
I hear you and I put that into my error as most of the time I can find family names, parent names & pics, interviews, pronouns in their professional or social media bios etc etc
Usually per sheet of 250 artists ive averaged 1 to 4 artists (1.6%) I find little to no info on
@TokenOfTheMonth
Seems like the takeaway is that itβs ultimately not just a Lost Lands problem or an EDC problem or a dubstep problem etc
Minority groups are underrepresented at all large-scale commercialized EDM massives across events (although this anecdotally seems to be improving since 2011)
@WormhogVR
I did! I counted them within either the Asian category if they were from the traditional ME region and as Black if they were from the traditional North Africa region
