I am not advocating for paying out of your own pocket to take a SANS course. They are pricey af. If your employer will cover the costs, do it!! I was fortunate enough to be in that position and took every one available.

Oh, look, I did a thing. SANS FOR578 was a good course and is probably better in-person based on how the labs are structured. I took the on-demand since that was the only option available to me at the time. The exam did a good job covering the material in a realistic way.
