I've said for years that the TV window for each race is perfect, but the race time itself needs to move forward 15-30 minutes. The problem is TV knows the race audience peaks at the end of the race and they want to carry that audience into their next show/event.

The best tweet all weekend is when
@bobpockrass
post green flag time. That’s when my tv turns on. There’s to much talking before all sporting events
@Toby_Christie
Fox would just spend it talking about each other. I’m convinced more and more that Fox hates NASCAR with every broadcast. It’s gotten beyond bad.

Everyone will support this idea. Then we get to see emotions from drivers and not “I think we have a fast *insert sponsor name* *insert manufacturer name* today, we only hope it’s as fast as Xfinity 10g and come home with a good finish for all these hardworking guys in the shop.

I don’t give a rats ass about the pre race. Come to the race as cars are rolling off pit road, go through the starting order and then start the race. Give me hour to hour and a half of post race.
@Toby_Christie
Let's see why that wouldn't work. NO one knows exactly how long the race time will be, there would be no way to accurately predict the window needed to guarantee a post race show. The pre race is there to guarantee coverage for the advertisers.
@DerekRichardsDR
That requires the partners to do more. Which if they could they would. I would take the post-coverage instead of the pre-coverage any day.
