I wish I could tip people online easily. There was a moment some years ago where it almost looked like we might get universal tipping infrastructure, but it didn't pan out.

Announcing @pioneer_fund's YC F25 investment in Sorce (@sorcejobs). High trajectory founders @marvy_101 and @therealdajayi and David Alade. They are building Tinder for Jobs. The job market is a HIGHLY inefficient. Sorce may be the one to turn it into a real marketplace.

Magic Patterns raised their Series A led by Standard Capital. Magic Patterns has over $1M in ARR and is profitable. But even more importantly, customers love them. They have so many unsolicited recommendations in the YC network. Magic Patterns is lovable for design and UI.

YC founders move back to SF with such urgency once they get their visas. @garrytan should get a lot of credit for reigniting SF.

Jeff Bezos should come back to Amazon. Amazon could play a huge role in robotics and manufacturing in America. But they would need a founder to do it.

Founders shouldn't have to waste time learning the obscurities of the fundraising game that VCs live in. The system works overall, but it's still inefficient, chaotic, and often stupid.

Ok so I always put my shopping cart back, and obviously anyone who doesn’t is a sociopath and all that. But… I’m SURE if I worked at a grocery store, the funnest part of the job would be walking around the parking lot, making a shopping cart train.

We actually invested in Anthropic before they launched. We reached out to a @pioneer_fund Venture Partner who worked at Anthropic and got early access to test their model. Here's a snippet from my email to Dario.
Anthropic just grew from $1B to $7B in annualized revenue in 9 months. Unprecedented for a startup to grow that fast at that scale. We made an exception when Pioneer Fund invested in Anthropic back in 2023. We saw they could become a Trillion dollar company and that many of

The number of YC founders flying from SF to customers during YC is WAY UP the past couple years.
biggest myth abt @ycombinator we just sell to each other to make up for huge arr before demo day. total bs. my 4th flight out of SFO this month. in my batch, 60% of us have flown 2+ times in 4 weeks. some founders are legit eyeing airport-adjacent apts lol
