Spent my weekend traveling across our Commonwealth and talking to Virginians. There’s so much that brings us together—it was amazing talking to folks. Watch our weekend recap:
A special Mother’s Day note for my wife and life partner of forty years,
@AnneHolton
. Thank you for all you’ve done to support our kids and be the best partner I could ask for. I love you.
I joined our friends for a ‘puja’ (prayer) at the Durga Temple in Fairfax Station for their 25th anniversary. I’m so grateful I could join Hindu Virginians as they celebrate their faith and culture.
I’m honored to have received the endorsement of
@USJewishDems
. I’ll continue working with Virginia’s Jewish community to advocate for our shared values and combat antisemitism.
Senator
@timkaine
has dedicated his life to helping others, including as a civil rights lawyer and public servant. He is a strong advocate for our shared values and will continue to deliver for Virginians in the Senate.
Here at the beautiful Gloucester Fine Arts Museum with friends and supporters from all over Gloucester. We talked about why I’m running for re-election and why we must make sure to build on the progress we’ve made in Virginia. Thanks for hosting me!
I joined
@daav9
and
@VAAPICFund
for a meet and greet in Henrico celebrating
#AANHPIMonth
. We had a great discussion about the AAPI community in Virginia—their needs, their goals, and the work I’m doing in the Senate to support them.
One of my former staffers
@rogers4neighbor
met
@elroy_says
at a campaign event and started dating.
Today, I had the honor of officiating their wedding at a campaign event—and even
@DouglasEmhoff
was there to watch.
How special! Congratulations!
Great to be back in Warrenton with
@fauquierdems
,
@WarrenCoVADems
, and
@RappDems
! It was great seeing familiar and new faces as we talked about what’s at stake in this November’s election.
The excitement was loud in Annandale as we opened the first
@VADemocrats
coordinated campaign office in NoVa. Virginians and
@DouglasEmhoff
know the stakes of this election and that we’ve got to have the backs of
@JoeBiden
and
@KamalaHarris
this November. Let’s go win!
This is what a FIRED UP crowd for
@SecondGentleman
+
@timkaine
+ our other VA stars looks like on a Friday afternoon 🔥🤩
Thank you
@BidenHQ
for launching our earliest-ever coordinated campaign. We are ready to finish the job and reelect
@JoeBiden
and
@KamalaHarris
💙
Pumped to welcome
@DouglasEmhoff
to Annandale for the opening of the first Biden-Harris campaign office in Virginia!
Virginia is ready to keep our Commonwealth blue this November and send
@JoeBiden
and
@KamalaHarris
back to the White House!
I led an economic and business roundtable with local leaders in Manassas to hear their concerns and thoughts. I remain focused on lowering everyday costs for Virginians and building an economy that works for folks across every corner of our Commonwealth.
Our current housing crisis is unsustainable—and holding too many Virginians back. I’ve been working nonstop to create more housing opportunities across our Commonwealth. This funding will go a long way toward that.
You’ve probably seen news clips about lawmakers trying to cram more flights at DCA—already the nation’s busiest single runway.
It’s a bad idea—it risks passenger safety and more flight delays—and I’m fighting it at every step.
Here’s what you need to know:
It’s heartbreaking that women from states like Florida are being forced to travel to Virginia— the last state in the South without an abortion ban—just to get the health care they need. We must restore Roe to all 50 states. I have a bill to do just that.
I’m honored to have earned
@FP4America
's endorsement. Times like these make it all the more clear how important protecting democracy and freedom is—I will never give up on that effort.
FP4A is proud to endorse
@timkaine
!
For more than 20 years, Sen. Kaine has been an indispensable voice for a foreign policy that reflects America’s core values—supporting democracy, aiding our allies, and leading with diplomacy.
We need his leadership now more than ever!
We are responsible for leaving this planet in a better place for generations to come. I was proud to vote for the Inflation Reduction Act because it’s the biggest climate legislation in history—spurring clean energy growth in Virginia’s offshore wind and solar industries.
