Charles is a fantastic voice actor and has insane range in his acting. I'm sure he can find a voice for Mario that isn't annoying and I wouldn't mind if it did sound like how he does in the games

To the people out there who think that Charles Martinet voicing Mario in the movie would get annoying fast...
Have they even seen what Charles is capable of? There's more to his performance than just the voice clips you hear in Mario 64.

The voice is too high pitched to be able to bear for a good 1hr 30 minutes. Idk why people think Charles as Mario in a movie would be good. He’d have to fully change his voice up and you would all complain anyways

I can’t help but think he’d get so tired doing the voice after a little while. Charles is amazing with his many voices but the strain on the throat after hours must be painful. I honestly would not mind Charles’ voice acting Mario in the movie.
