I was considering getting this but since Crystal Dynamics is openly admitting to caring more about politics... Stellar Blade upgrade it is!
Crystal Dynamics has condemned the "offensive depictions of people and cultures rooted in racial and ethnic prejudices" in
#TombRaider
I-III Remastered and says the stereotypes portrayed are "deeply harmful, inexcusable, and do not align with our values."
@TheProfessorZ
@tombraidertweet
You did read it right??? Like they said they left it as is unaltered so what are you complaining about?
That they acknowledged it??
God forbid even pointing out something at one time was a offensive. 🤷‍♂️
@TheProfessorZ
@tombraidertweet
You my friend…have issues. The fact that they just have a text file is what bothered you. THEY KEPT EVERYTHING UNALTERED.
Watch Stellar Blade be censored to oblivion oh just you wait lol
@TheProfessorZ
@tombraidertweet
Disagree with you. Support this one to show these wokeys that we prefer the badass Lara to the fake crybaby lara CD is pushing. Also because these developers that did the remaster are talented and i hope they will do 4-6 remaster next

This text is literally the only thing crystal dynamics had to do with the remasters. You'd be sending the wrong message by avoiding buying this - you'd be telling crystal dynamics that they're right and that we don't want classic Lara back. You'd be emboldening them.
@TheProfessorZ
@tombraidertweet
Nah don't do that. Otherwise they win. They didnt make this game, aspyre did. Buy it to support the OG Lara and show CD we want the OG series back and not that reboot bs they put out.
@TheProfessorZ
@tombraidertweet
Crystal dynamics don’t even have anything to do with the remasters. This is them trying to do whatever they can to tank sales so they have tangible proof to say “see? Nobody like OG Laura. So it’s not us after all.”
@studiosupesart
@tombraidertweet
That's okay. We can let it die and look forward to actual new, innovative games instead of the same stuff recycled and remastered over and over and over again.
@whisperer_game
@tombraidertweet
They're literally admitting to politics in the first paragraph.
But I bet no one here is surprised you couldn't make it past the first 8 syllables.

From my understanding, though limited. Crystal Dynamics did not have anything to do with the remaster. The parent company Embracer group out sourced the remasters. The trigger warning is just a petty insert by CD to show their disdain for og Croft and fans and not having control.
