The Substance just remained in my memory the most when thinking about favorite films of 2024. Almost made it: Evil Does Not Exist, Love Lies Bleeding, Kinds of Kindness, and maybe Longlegs.

This episode had the least amount of Trump in it and mostly focused on the antics of the citizens of South Park. Easily the best episode of the season so far. Again, you want to do political stuff? Fine, but don't take screen time away from South Park's residents. #SouthPark

It took five episodes, but the buildup and reveal of Pennywise was expertly handled. Again, I applaud the show's restraint in not plastering him everywhere, proving Welcome to Derry can stand on its own without leaning on Pennywise. #ITWelcomeToDerry

TV budget be damned, they managed to make Pennywise look just as, if not more terrifying, than he did in the films. Bravo. #ITWelcomeToDerry
