Singing in the desert 🌵 We’ve been soaking up some November sunshine in Phoenix for the final weekend of our US tour! Here we are on stage at the Camelback Bible Church, nestled in the shadow of Camelback Mountain, where last night we performed music by Palestrina and Gesualdo.

We’ve arrived in New York ahead of our concert in Cold Spring Harbor tomorrow 🇺🇸 It’s a rare day off for us, and we’ve spent it enjoying the sunshine at a local botanical gardens. We lost Josh in the cactus greenhouse, but couldn’t resist taking a photo with this backdrop 🍃

🎶 Workshop day! 🎶 A couple of weeks ago we had a wonderful time working with the lovely singers of the ‘Surrey Hills Chamber Choir’. Together we explored some magnificent Palestrina and particularly enjoyed splitting into voice parts to focus on some detailed work!

Our first concert in Birmingham! For a group that began in Cambridge, it feels improbable that we’d have performed in Birmingham, Alabama before Birmingham, UK. Yesterday, we finally put that right with a wonderful concert at the University of Birmingham.

Cathedral Singing Day ✅ We had a wonderful time at “Lichfield for Singing” over the weekend. It’s a new initiative we’ve launched alongside the cathedral to share our love for singing with communities, and hope to take this all around the country.

New season, new programme ✅ Yesterday we premiered our newest programme, “The English in Europe” – a collection of works exploring the cross-fertilisation of musical ideas in 15th and 16th-century Europe. It was our first time in Thornbury, a pretty town outside of Bristol

Too early for Halloween? 👻 Yesterday we filmed the trailer for our latest immersive theatre project. Deep underneath St Martin-in-the-Fields in London we found a suitably spooky spot to film a few moments from ‘Death of Gesualdo’.

We kicked off our new season on a real high with a packed-out concert in the beautiful St Michael’s, nestled in the shadow of Linlithgow Palace 🏴 The town’s motto is “St Michael is kinde to strangers”, and we were certainly given a warm welcome on our trip to Scotland.
