As part of a long-term creek restoration in Duke Forest, local freshwater mussels are being reintroduced to New Hope Creek. @NCWildlife biologists led Nicholas School MEM students in acclimating and relocating 1,000 Notched rainbow mussels (Villosa constricta) to their new home.
