So, if you catch some of the headlines today, know that actually the study was proof gentle parenting works, although I'd argue that their perception of 'works' is not a great one. 8/9

Every single one of these statements is incorrect - I think they know it too! - yet still they are wheeled out again and again and again. 7/9

Maybe that's why they deliberately misinterpret gentle parenting and continue the same old tired trope that "gentle parents don't say no!", "gentle parents never raise their voice!", "gentle parents are low limits", "gentle parenting is only for gentle children". 6/9

It’s not rocket science. Gentle parenting is authoritative parenting!. #gentleparenting . 5/9

Even if parents plough in to defend gentle parenting they are still giving the source what they want - interactions, reach - and MONEY! These articles are a win, win for them. 4/9

If they frame a piece to say "gentle parenting doesn't work" they know they will get hundreds and hundreds of comments and interactions - and in today's world, these comments mean MONEY!. 3/9. #parenting #gentleparenting
