Let's be honest, apart from ditching councillors faster than you can say Jackie Weaver, Reform doesn't have that much to do. Hobbyists.

Between party conference and the budget, Starmer will have been out of the country three times. He has not held a press conference since his trip to India – more than a month ago. Reform have held at least five — @jessicaelgot

Astonishing scenes from the @BBCNews meeting with Tim Davie and Samir Shah. * Chairman sait it was disrespectful to suggest board wasn’t upholding BBC values, causing widespread fury * Explained the week long delay in commenting on @Telegraph leak was because of need to check

BBC News Is A Basketcase, part 16 of an occasional 5489 part series. R4 The World Tonight presenter: "Brecon & Radnor voted to Leave and they returned a Lib Dem MP" Richard Tice: "Well the vote was 50-50" It was 48-52. It went unchallenged and the presenter breezily moved on...

I think this panel, and #newsnight generally, is why people tend to regard BBC News and BBC Politics as a basket case. The rest of the BBC is brilliant. But these are the people now framing your debate about the future of the BBC. And they're not helping.

Sorry but Why has the @BBCNews reporter adopted a jolly, indulgent tone to describe Trump interfering in our election? Seriously, I am so pro-BBC and even I’m sick to death of this.

"I'm reading on social media, those against lockdown are describing this is house arrest". That's a BBC News Channel anchor there. Just peddling some pretty dumb Twitter/Facebook twaddle an hour after Johnson's statement. He's interviewing two members of SAGE.

When you think of the great things produced by the BBC just in the past 5 years, you think of Cunk, of the Olympics, of the World Cup & Wimbledon, of Children in Need, of Guilt, of Inside No 9, of Motherland, of Happy Valley. News and Current Affairs ruins everything.
