@TexasTrackDad I like how you gave your expectations for the coach. It’s a 2 way street. Is the scholarship fixed or can it ⬆️ after yr 1?Some do not increase.

@TexasTrackDad We did this as well!! Kids need to realize they are recruiting a New Coach...they move from Jr to HS and got me...no choice... now they HAVE Choices...use the opportunity wisely!

@TexasTrackDad also. a good question to ask is- who is directly responsible for my athletes/child s workouts. Just because the Head coach or recruiter is recruiting- don’t assume the training will be coming from that Head coach or recruiter. Some of my athletes learned this the hard way.

@Effectivewin Great question this is assumed a lot and the athlete and parent should know who will be their individual Coach….and if the athlete is a sprinter he or she need to speak with and meet the Sprint Coach as well….awesome info thank you
