That's exactly what I was wondering about. Is it worth the energy here. Thinking on this scale no, but this was to make a point. Our area stopped recycling glass because of costs.

How comes we say here in England
“Aluminium” and over there in the states it’s “Aluminum”?
Even my spell checker says the later is wrong!!
