She was 18 when she was casted and continued as an adult. Every job has its downsides. She signed up for one that wearing heels is part of it. Don’t see this warranted for headlines.

She wasn't a child actor on modern family as others have pointed out but she had been a child actor up to that point. She has a kidney disease that was probably treated as an inconvenience by many directors etc. in her career though. That's probs what the gout was from tbh

Lol she’s not a child actor, she just looks young. She’s 32 now and was an adult the entire time on the show.
