Finished playing Red Dead Redemption 2 inc Epilogue. Belated first ever play through. Great therapy from LFC's shit form lol. The immersiveness of this game, it's environment and story is quite something. It's also fucking massive.

It's astonishing that Liverpool have not retained a Major trophy since 1984. I actually had not realised it was so long and puts into perspective how difficult it is. Won League and League Cup in 1982-83 and retained both in 1983-84.

Another day, another hearing, another appeal but still the same old outcome; a loss for FSV Mainz 05. Regular defeats on the football pitch clearly aren’t enough for the board of the club so they keep coming back for more losses in the German courts ! I am grateful to the

Far too often this season our midfield has been empty. It's become a joke on twitter posting screenshots of LFC in possession with no-one in midfield. Our midfielders see themselves as AMs so their instincts are to run forward or chase action, not to sit, manage space and recycle

unlike in games this season where we've often thrown players forward this system is stable! Why? Because even though both FBs are high Fab and Hendo just sit. They can recycle but if the ball is lost they're in good positions for 2nd balls, counter-press or just to cover. 2/2

This goal is shown often. The two FBs high is obviously noticeable but it's the tempo of the passing and movement that I like. It's quick and purposeful. Notice our CF is on the RW, our RW is CF and our LW is at inside right, our left 8 moves into inside left but 1/2

Emery has decided he doesn't want him be of the physicality off the ball so won't give the apps to trigger the clause. I'm sure there's a place in a Premier League level team for him. Also think he'd do great in other leagues like Spain. He needs to move in January.

Harvey Elliott hasn’t played a minute for Villa since late Sep. Needs to make five more appearances for £35m buy option to be triggered. No Jan break clause and so far no talks about potentially cancelling the loan. Piece on his tricky situation. #LFC https://t.co/B8PmKj4YDm

What's happening to Liverpool? I've taken a look at some of the patterns that explain #LFC's start to 2025-26. It's a long read on long passes, pressing, possession, set-plays, away form and more - and it's free at the link below. https://t.co/wORhf0B7Hz

Most teams are kicking longer this season, but Liverpool’s opponents are doing it a lot more… and at the expense of passing short, which deprives them of opportunities to press

Werner and Sancho looked world beaters in the Bundesliga. It's a very open easy league for attackers as all the teams attack and leave space. Diaz is a good player, but he's the same player he has been just in an easier league. LFC didn't make a mistake as he wanted to leave.

Luis Diaz has double the number of goal contributions of any Liverpool player so far this season 🇨🇴🚀 Did they make a mistake in letting him go? 🤨

This is not a criticism of Hugo at all, who I rate highly, just a reason why LFC needed 2 strikers. He's had a suspension and games where he's not had much of the ball or been able to make an impact. It can happen with young players. It's why we needed another striker as well.

Ekitike has been the signing that has settled in the best, and some have suggested we didn't need to buy Isak, but Hugo doesn't have a goal or assist in the league since 20th Sep. When LFC return after the NT Break on 22nd Nov that will be 2 months! That's why we needed Isak.

btw the 2 worst performances of the season imo were 1st half vs Palace and 1st half vs City and the midfield was Macca, Dom and Grav in both so unlike some claimed that midfield doesn't fix everything - it can be great but can also fail. So there are other issues involved.

Wasn't bad but didn't play well. No one played well. But Wirtz did do more than most of our team despite not getting much of ball. Certainly better than the CBs and all of the midfield. But he doesn't impose himself enough, doesn't protect the ball well and no G&A is an issue.

This seems like "analysis paralysis". City are one of the toughest teams to face away, of course they need to be analysed deeply, but you can be so focussed on worrying about every permutation that this fear gets transferred to the team and we played like that first half.

You can beat Liverpool by passing sideways, passing through them, physically being better, going long over them or from set-pieces. Such a weak side. Lost 7 games already. By this stage - November 9th - Roy Hodgson had lost 5 games.
