He thanks the defense for stepping up and holding the Eagles to only 2 touchdowns, and wants the same (or better) outcome for the rest of the season. (4)

Aside from special teams, he knows how to get his quarterback’s attention from way down the field and make plays that take not only skill, but on the spot strategy. He highlights that the Cougars had a slow start, but after some coaching adjustments, they finished strong. (3)

As the kicker for Covenant, and one of the best in D3, if the Cougars ever don’t quite make it to the end zone, Lucas is there to finish it off with a confident field goal. (2)

He says he is doing his best to boost team morale even higher, and if the offense and defense do their jobs, he sees a bright future in the postseason. (5)

Now what if he decides to throw the ball? You’d best believe that ball is going a long way away, but there will most definitely be a receiver there to answer his call. (4)

Jonah decides to run the ball: can just one defender tackle him? Wrong. 2? Also wrong. Once he gets moving, it takes an army of defenders to take him down. (3)

As a multi sport athlete, he somehow found a way to be a distinguished player in both football and baseball, being incredible at both, even with 2 more years of high school to grow. Expect to see more of him soon. Out on the football field, he is nothing short of a tank. (2)

Like his close friend and QB Peyton Jankowski, he gives all credit to God, thanking him for providing the chance to play football and for giving him the skills to excel. Fun fact: He almost transferred to LCCS, but backed out at the last minute… and look where that got him! (5)

His fellow teammate Grant Kruse points out several instances when Noah was able to strap down the Eagles offense, ensuring nothing was scored on his side of the field. (4)

He is a defensive star, shutting the Eagles down on multiple occasions, as well as quickly and efficiently tackling through downs to get the offense back on the field. (3)

As the magnificent DB that he is, he finds ways to make pick 6’s look like art, painting Picassos by cutting through enemy territory and finding his way to some points. (2)

However, he hands most of the credit to the Lord, giving him the opportunity to play at a great school and come out and play the game in his name. He also thanks his Dad, his recievers, and everyone else that works to make the team great. (4)

He claims that he would not be able to command the field without the help of his offensive line doing their jobs and working together to boost team morale and even helping him up after he “gets hit late.” (3)

He commanded the team to an enormous victory over LCCS with a rushing touchdown to his name, as well as multiple passing touchdowns. This guy knows what he’s doing, and executes well. (2)
