It was a real pleasure to attend the signing of the agreement between @TRIUMFLab and @CNRS for the establishment of an International Research Laboratory (IRL) in Vancouver. This agreement will enable French scientists to carry out research at TRIUMF's facilities.

The new laboratory will bring together the Canadian and French nuclear physics communities around two key themes: research on exotic nuclei to explore the mechanisms of nucleus cohesion, and research into nuclear astrophysics.
