Then you become an adult, realize that most people’s signatures are illegible outside of maybe a few letters and stop caring.
Mine has been the first letter of my first name looping into the last letter of my last name for a decade now

I went to school in the 70s and 80s, we had typewriters with only 1 font, the rest was by hand in cursive, which by the way, kids are not taught anymore and a shame.

You can't go in life printing your name on any kind of forms, ie banks don't accept it, and also that's how they verify who you are, so cursive is necessary in life.

Will always be fascinated with the reasoning boomers come up with for random shit *needing* to be a crucial part of life. Cursive hasn't been a necessity for decades in most of the u.s. and forcing kids to learn/practice it is a waste of time lol
