Colts starting defense right now:
DE Kwity Paye
3T DeForest Buckner
NT Grover Stewart
DE Yannick Ngakoue
MLB Bobby Okereke
WLB Darius Leonard
CB1 Stephon Gilmore
CB2 Isaiah Rodgers/Brandon Facyson
SCB Kenny Moore II
FS Julian Blackmon
SS Khari Willis
Sheesh this is 🔥 on paper
I need this series of events:
- Colts sign TY Hilton to fill Isaiah McKenzie's roster spot
- Jags lose to the Bucs/Titans
- Colts and Texans both win their next two games
- Colts host Texans for the AFC South on Sunday Night Football in Week 18
- TY scores the game-winning TD
I honestly can't believe that Colts fans value Carson Wentz so little that they'd rather have Jimmy G, Teddy Bridgewater, Derek Carr, and Tyrod Taylor. Like, wtf are we talking about here???
If you're a Colts fan and you...
1. Don't think Ballard is a good GM
2. Aren't willing to be patient about the team's current situation
3. Have no faith in AR as our franchise QB
...don't talk to me lol

@Josh61280
It's marginally better, also this just shows how little you know cause the Colts fifth edge rusher is Tyquan Lewis who plays a lot and I think led the team in PRWR, they definitely have more depth than Houston and if Latu is as good as Anderson it's pretty much a wash
If Ballard can manage to sign any of these guys, I'd be absolutely STOKED:
- Jaylon Johnson
- Brian Burns
- Josh Allen
- Mike Evans
- Bryce Huff
- Danielle Hunter
- Marquise Brown
- Antoine Winfield
- Kendall Fuller
Actions > words, but this qualifies for a bold statement from Chris Ballard:
"We're not paying the QB big money anymore. And, so, we're going to have some more flexibility and we'll always be prudent, but we'll be as aggressive as we need to be in free agency.”
"Running it back" when we still have a draft and only *might* lose one starter, plus:
Returning from injury:
AR
Flowers
Woods
Dulin
Half the '23 draft class
And others who missed significant time:
JT
Grove
Brents
And we added Raekwon Davis which is bigger than people think
Hey
@JimIrsay
you ever going to make your GM earn his money or you just happy with mediocrity now? Why keep running it back, this is the definition of insanity. You’re doing your rookie QB no favors.
The amount of people taking this the wrong way is insane lol
Ballard isn't saying they're living and dying by AR, he's saying that this is a talented enough roster that getting back their QB can make a big difference next season...idk how this is so hard to understand
Last point is key. The single biggest reason the Colts have basically run it back with their roster is because they are convinced Richardson is a difference maker who can help them take a leap. That has come through in numerous conversations I've had in recent weeks.
These gotta be the worst, most obnoxious "Colts fans" in existence. Openly rooting for Levis just cause they wanna be right about Ballard not taking him. What's hilarious is they hate CB and yet, they're both just like him: stubborn and thinks they're the smartest in the room.
The same Colts fans talking shit about Shaq Leonard are the same ones that were talking shit about Kenny Moore II a year ago. Y'all will be proven wrong again in due time.
Just wanna add... I get the argument for Carr, he's pretty good. At the end of the day though, Carr and Wentz are pretty comparable and I'd have them in the same tier among QBs. Making a move for Carr likely costs the Colts draft capital or a player to make a lateral move.
Some thoughts from the Colts 31-21 loss to the Jags:
- Richardson looked pretty good overall, showed good command of the offense, but he was put in tough situations all game
- run game was horrible, especially Deon Jackson, really helped JT's case lol
- MPJ is a WR1
@SconnieColt
I'm normally not the biggest advocate for paying RBs but there are several factors in play that really favor paying JT
1. He's still a top five RB
2. He's only 24 so a five year deal could be done by age 29
3. He's the engine for the Colts offense
4. The Colts have a rookie QB
@ZachHicks2
I would like to see the Colts add a solid vet tackle for competition/depth, but Raimann is looking really solid and played well while going up against Watt, Parsons, Hunter, and Mack. If he adds some muscle and improves his anchor this off-season, he could be a high level LT.
Colts fans upset with the compensation for the Hines trade need to understand these things:
- Hines supposedly requested a trade
- this was largely about cap savings (especially if they wanna pay JT)
- Moss provides cheap/young depth
- Browns couldn't even get a fourth for Hunt
Just realized that Levis fans spent all week telling me how the Falcons have a top 10 defense and they got cooked by Josh Dobbs who didn't even take a practice snap lmaoooo
Joy Taylor yesterday on FS1: “Sabonis is wrong. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. … actions have consequences. That’s why you got stepped on. I have no sympathy for him.”
