This looks like it's gonna be a beautiful land. But I can't help but feel there's something left to be desired. I want to ride on the back of a dragon not a wooden one. If Disney can put us on the back of an ikran surely uni coulda put us on the back of a dragon.
I didn't think I had to say this but I guess I gotta hold some of y'all hand through this, I'm not saying I want a HTTYD FOP or something screen based. I was leaning more into the coaster being one we can ride on the back of a dragon which is why I included the art of the COASTER
That being said I'm okay with something screen based I'm just saying it would be great to ride on the back of a dragon in some way shape or form. Whether practical of simulated. I'm cool. I just want to ride a dragon
@scottwalker88
To be real with you I would have opened with that but I get keeping one thing in the chamber cause odds are they got phase two on the docket and the fact that there's that live action remake they're doing that comes out I think that same year or the year after
@KingRCT3
Hey I'm cool with that too. It simulate it's breathing and it's lungs expanding. I'm okay with something like that if that can't pull off the full thing
@TCJaalin
With all due respect, this is nitpicking at best. It’s one of those: I don’t like that they didn’t build X attraction but on day one I’ll completely forget all about that because the total experience is amazing. Disney won’t ever be at the same level as Epic anyways.
@moviematt85
With all due respect if you think nitpicking is wanting to ride on a dragon in a land based around a franchise whose iconic moments include riding on the back of a dragon you don't know what nitpicking is.
@TCJaalin
I get it. Perhaps they didn’t want to do something *that* similar to Flight of Passage in phase one? It’s almost TOO obvious (…doesn’t mean I don’t want it or that it won’t come later!). There’s quite a bit of room for expansion in this land.
@TCJaalin
I hear you but it would be a clear FOP rip off. I think the land is a good start and from the video it’s clear the creative team has this in mind. I trust the vision and process.
@TCJaalin
Honestly, after Velocicoaster, I'm open to the idea of Universal recreating the experience of riding a dragon in the form of a roller coaster. They seem to have that particular skillset.
@TCJaalin
Sometimes I wish that Walt’s “you become the characters from the movie” approach will make a comeback in the industry.
Instead of Hiccup building a glider for the guests of universal studios, why cant we become Hiccup and ride toothless. It’s the buckbeak baskets all over again
@TCJaalin
I honestly would’ve been fine with direct rip off of avatar but using the scene from the 3rd movie just because it has the potential to be so beautiful and colorful. This is still gonna be amazing though and I can’t fault for not wanting to do almost a direct copy of Disney.
