Just a reminder that WAKANDA shouldn't go to animal kingdom. It's main themes are geo political not exactly environmental. Just because it is African does not mean it automatically fits in Animal Kingdom. If anything it belongs in EPCOT or Studios more than anything.
I think a true Bikini Bottom would stand the test of theme park time.
Also patiently waiting Wakanda to take over the sadly near-extinct Dino Land it DAK.
And Hawkins, Indiana & the Upside Down would be incredible.

So tired of seein a consistent, tired, lazy trend of mainly white people spout that movies that aren't eurocentric and/or are set in jungle based regions who's stories have little to nothing to do with animals or conservation be put in DAK. I've seen it with Raya, Encanto, and BP

These stories have NOTHING to do with core themes of animal kingdom and are based in HUMAN interaction, HUMAN connection and HUMAN interpersonal relationships. It's mad disrespectful and ignorant to relegate these IP to DAK because of their setting and not their stories

Also even if they did put BP in animal kingdom...why would it be in DINOLAND?! Not the conversation station,not at the Asia or Pandora walk to Africa expansion plots that could have a pathway connected to the rest of Harambe, but in DINOLAND?! That don't even make sense?!?

In a world where they could use it, I could see them pulling out the original idea of equatorial Africa were a bunch of countries were gonna go into represent the continent and make it sorta like an African world's fair. Do that with Wakanda being the head organizer

That is why being a theme park purist ain’t entirely bad. If anything, it really belongs in Studios at the end of the day. I never cared for the suggestions of Wakanda or Zootopia at DAK for those reasons.

Same with Encanto. It should go in DAK why? One character deals with animals, but the movie is about PEOPLE. It should go in Adventureland why? It’s not set in colonial times or deals with exploration. But we KNOW why Africa, LatAm and Asia is always predicted into those areas.

It’s not like Avatar where the Wildlife of the Planet was a central theme. Wakanda is just a setting for a superhero film that has nothing to do with the themes of DAK.

I sorta always felt like having a Black Panther E-ticket thrill ride in DHS as the centerpiece of a pseudo Marvel/superhero land made more sense than a Wakanda land in DAK

I don’t even think that if Disney builds a theme park in Africa, it’s version of Tomorrowland shouldn’t just be Wakandaland.

I think the epcot outpost should be replaced with a wakanda embassy and a trade market. The African carpenters can still sell in the market (which would be accurate to the comics) and we get a less racist location!
