Development status of upcoming Chinese Launch Vehicles by the end of Q3 2025 The Trimester saw 5-6 static fires of new stages. As it stands maybe 4 RLV and 1 ELV have a decent chance of launching in Q4 (2 of which will attempt a landing), with a few more possible in H1 2026.

CZ-12A maiden launch on December 15th? Maybe, other rumors say 17th... This seems to be aimed at investors (listing associated companies) so take with a grain of salt.

JZYJ's testing capabilities may be boosted by ¥850M agreement between Bengbu (Anhui) & Shanghai for Methalox engine test area in Bengbu Dahongshan. Bengbu-based Space Epoch (they used to test at JZYJ) is planning ¥5.2B factory to build 25 launchers/year in Hangzhou, Zhejiang

Published NOTAM (Blue check) so far alone would put the CN total at 87 launches this year (84 orbital successes) so I was pessimistic, 90 launches seem likely at this point, although 90 orbital successes not as much.

The single most impressive thing about this inaugural launch is that they kept their deadline that they announced when they announced the Zhuque 3 in late 2023. This may as well be unheard of in recent private space launch globally.

https://t.co/JMV3AXTFzi As expected, the 2nd CZ-7-series Mobile Launcher was introduced with today's Shijian-28 launch, hence the quick turnaround and patch, the 2nd VAB still doesn't seem ready, but we may expect the introduction of the 2nd CZ-5 series Mobile launcher soon.
@Kaynouky Interestingly a CZ-7A is planned for December 20, less than 3 weeks after the previous one (planned for Nov 30), this record turnaround could mean CALT may introduce either the 2nd CZ-7 Mobile launcher or both Mobile launcher and New 522 VAB (pictures from June/July)

https://t.co/tmtMgPCX93 It seems that the maiden launch of TL-3 next month may carry 36 Qianfan However goes against previous announcement by SP that 1st launch would carry a dummy payload, and implication by Spacesail they didn't expect additional launches in 2025

Nice video of 32-105% throttling test of Galactic Energy's CQ-50 engine Landspace-affiliated Hongqing's new Xiong'an production line rolled out its first technological demonstrator, launch soon? According to 你好太空, HICAL charges ¥40M ($5.6m) per launch from Hainan Com. pad!

Therefore Chinese LSP are likely going to be 50 launches behind their target this year, a worse result than last year's However CASC is likely only going to be ~15 launches behind theirs (~70/85 launches), a better performance than last year's (19 launches behind their 70 target)

This year's blue book and launch number target was never released, however based on this year's performance and previously announced goals, it can be estimated that there were around 135 planned Chinese launches this year, of which ~50 would have been from non-CASC LSP.

A recent picture of the Lianli Island LCC-1 launch pad in construction, rumors say it's expected to be operational by mid-2026 (both kerolox & methalox compatibility). While the new offshore platform (used for Jielong 4) is expected to be operational by Q2 2026.

https://t.co/lq0AtmnPgg Explanation of the SZ-20 damages by 星辰科研生产联合体 on weibo. From CCTV, SZ-22's launch campaign has started and it will carry cargo of equipment and food. As for SZ-20, it may carry low-value downmass, but certainly not high value like Feitian Gen 2-B

Congrats to BO! What a launch!!! I'm glad another company did it less than 10 years since Orbcom OG2's F9 landing Also impressed by the tracking shot of the fairing separation. Nooglin really does look like a spaceship with its fins
